Hi, I'm Faye
I went to an art high school where every student had to choose a niche. I picked photography, mostly on a whim. Then I sat in my first film photography class, watched an image slowly appear in the developer tray, and that was it! I was hooked for good.
I'm Faye, the person behind the camera. I'm based in San Diego, but I'll go wherever your story takes me — Santa Barbara, Oahu, Italy, wherever feels like home to you two.
why film
I didn't start out shooting weddings. I spent years photographing couples, families, and engagements digitally before I ever picked up a wedding gallery. Somewhere along the way, film stopped being a style choice for me and became the only way I wanted to work.
The moment it clicked was when my fiance's brother hired me to shoot his engagement on film. Watching those images come back, I knew right then that other couples deserved to have film woven into their love story too.

When I'm not shooting, you can probably find me planning my own wedding to my fiance Aaron, trying out a new workout class around the city, or editing galleries at my favorite coffee shop in San Diego. (If you have recs, please send them my way!)
